Welcome to Lake Harriet. We are committed to teach people with a physical limitation, 12 years old and up. We started this program in the summer of 2008. We have four Mini 12 or Illusion boats in our fleet. These small, one person boats are adapted for people with a disability. Dozens of volunteers, most of them sailors themselves teach sailing and make sure every participant have a great and safe experience. We sail on Monday nights (5pm to sunset) during the summer, end May through September.
